Irsai Oliver is a Hungarian medium-dense, medium-shouldered grape type that ripens at the end of August. It's characterized by strong growth, suitable for both delicacies and wine grapes and not demanding to soil and location. Irsai Oliver grape is also tolerant of frost and drought and not at all prone to rot. It's berry is round, yellow, thin-skinned, crisp, juicy, with a muscat flavor and an excellent ingredient for pálinka.
